As Chief Marketing Officer at Tanium, Chris Pick oversees the company’s global marketing team, which includes product marketing, demand generation, sales development, field marketing and corporate communications. Chris is responsible for driving Tanium’s market strategy, brand awareness and the company’s continued growth across the U.S and international markets. He is a 25-year veteran of the technology industry with an established track record in creating innovative go-to-market strategies, software categories and customer communities. Previous to Tanium, Chris spent nine years as CMO at Apptio, where he led the creation of the Technology Business Management category and played a key role in Vista Equity’s $2B acquisition of the company. Prior to Apptio, Chris was a CEO-in-residence at Austin Ventures, was the CMO at NetIQ and led Ernst & Young’s enterprise security architecture global practice.
