David Hindawi


David Hindawi, an accomplished entrepreneur and inventor, co-founded Tanium in 2007 and serves as its Executive Chairman. Prior to Tanium, David founded BigFix, Inc., an enterprise systems management solution that was acquired by IBM in 2010. Prior to BigFix, David was Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Software Ventures, a leader in telecommunications software, which he led up to its acquisition. David holds a number of software patents in the areas of network communications and systems management, has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Technion, and has a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley.

Orion Hindawi


Orion Hindawi co-founded Tanium in 2007 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Orion leads product strategy and development of the Tanium Platform, in addition to all customer-facing technical operations and management functions. A technology visionary and accomplished inventor, Orion has led the development of enterprise-scale endpoint security and management platforms for the past 18 years at BigFix, Inc. (acquired by IBM in 2010) and Tanium, in addition to holding multiple software patents in the areas of network communications and systems management. Orion works closely with Tanium customers on a daily basis in the pursuit of inventing new approaches for solving the significant challenges IT departments face securing and managing large, global enterprise environments. Orion also serves on the Tanium Board of Directors.

Scott Rubin

Chief Marketing Officer

Scott Rubin is Chief Marketing Officer at Tanium, where he is responsible for internal and external communications, global marketing strategy and execution, demand generation and product marketing functions. Prior to Tanium, Scott was a partner at the venture capital firm, Andreessen Horowitz, where he advised portfolio companies on their communications and brand strategies. Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Scott was a director at Google, where he served on both the public policy and communications teams, most recently managing global corporate communications. He also spent nearly 4 years in London leading Google’s communications and public affairs team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Scott holds an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.A. from The Johns Hopkins University.

Anirma Gupta

General Counsel

Anirma Gupta is General Counsel at Tanium where she leads all aspects of Tanium’s legal initiatives, including advising on company strategy and implementation. Anirma brings a wealth of legal and business partnership expertise to Tanium. Prior to Tanium, Anirma was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Intuit Inc. where she was responsible for intellectual property, marketing, strategic transactions, regulated product offerings and advising on technology strategy and partnerships. Prior to Intuit, Anirma was at Sun Microsystems where she led strategic patent portfolio development. Prior to Sun Microsystems, Anirma was an associate with the intellectual property law firm, Sughrue Mion, where she dealt with a broad range of IP issues. Anirma has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Maryland and earned her JD from Georgetown. Anirma is also a board member of ChIPs, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement, development and retention of women in technology, law and intellectual property.

David Damato

Chief Security Officer

David Damato is Chief Security Officer at Tanium. As Chief Security Officer, David provides strategic product direction over module development for the Tanium Platform and manages the company’s internal security program. David brings a wealth of security expertise to Tanium, spanning incident response and forensics, vulnerability assessments, security program development, security operations, and network and security architecture. Prior to Tanium, David most recently served as Managing Director at Mandiant, a FireEye company, where his team led incident response and post-breach remediation efforts at over 100 Fortune 500 companies. At Mandiant, David was also instrumental in developing new incident response services capabilities and establishing consulting offices both domestically and internationally. Prior to Mandiant, David led security consulting teams at PwC as part of its Washington Federal Practice and held IT roles at Raytheon focused on the management of internal and government networks. David frequently shares his expertise and insights at industry events and with the media.
