Tanium Named to Deloitte Technology Fast 500™

Today we’re thrilled to share Deloitte has named Tanium a Technology Fast 500™ award winner and the 15th fastest-growing technology company in the nation and among the top 10 software companies. The Technology Fast 500 is an award program sponsored by Deloitte to recognize the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America, based on the percentage of fiscal year revenue growth from 2012 to 2015.

We’re honored to be recognized, as our rapid growth during the past four years has reinforced that the market is hungry for a unified security and IT management platform that actually scales to the size of modern networks. Our customers are the inspiration for every new update we deliver — an average of one per quarter over the last two years, and there is still plenty of room for continued innovation. Tanium is now deployed at many of the world’s largest organizations, including each of the top 10 U.S. banks and 4 of the top 10 retailers. We’re growing in both depth and breadth. Our annual recurring revenue has grown substantially year-over-year, and we ended our year debt-free, with approximately $300M in cash. And our staff continues to grow to meet the demand: we anticipate 500 employees by year-end, up from 344 at the same milestone last year.

About the Author: Orion Hindawi co-founded Tanium in 2007 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Orion leads product strategy and development of the Tanium Platform, in addition to all customer-facing technical operations and management functions. A technology visionary and accomplished inventor, Orion has led the development of enterprise-scale endpoint security and management platforms for the past 18 years at BigFix, Inc. (acquired by IBM in 2010) and Tanium, in addition to holding multiple software patents in the areas of network communications and systems management.
