Welcoming Bina Chaurasia to Tanium As Our Chief People Officer

Our people are the most important part of our organization. They shape how we think and how we approach challenges. Every day, the team here at Tanium works to unlock the potential of our company and push the limits of what we think is possible. This is why I’m so pleased to announce the appointment of Bina Chaurasia to the newly created position of Chief People Officer (CPO) at Tanium.

Bina was most recently SVP and Chief HR Officer at Ericsson, where she was instrumental in building a global human resource function and developing and implementing the people strategy to support the business transformation.

In her role as CPO, Bina will be responsible for leading the company’s vision and strategy around our people, and developing and implementing all people enablement initiatives in support of our overall strategic direction, including, amongst other things, recruiting and talent management.

Bina has deep expertise in human resources, working across diverse sectors with companies including Hewlett Packard, Gap, Inc., Sun Microsystems and PepsiCo/Yum!. She truly understands the importance of people and culture, and how to create a workplace that enables employees to be the best that they can be.

Bina is the latest notable executive to come aboard, joining COO/CFO Fazal Merchant. These leaders, together with new board members Anthony Belfiore and Maggie Wilderotter, are instrumental in shaping Tanium’s future as the next great enterprise software company.

Bina’s first day is August 7. I could not be more thrilled about Bina’s appointment. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome to Tanium.
