Tanium recognised as one of the UK’s “Best Workplaces” for 2020 by Great Place to Work®

London, England, April 30, 2020 – Tanium, provider of unified endpoint management and security built for the world’s most demanding IT environments, today announced that it has been named one of the UK’s “Best Workplaces” for 2020 by Great Place to Work®. Tanium ranked #9 in the “medium company” category.

The results found that Tanium ranked highly in the categories of trust and teamwork, dedication to customer success and employee pride in the company. Among highlighted results, 96% of Tanium team members rated the company as a great workplace and 95% noted that their work has special meaning. Employees also cited the company’s team-oriented culture, its caring people and cooperative environment as major benefits of working at Tanium. Based on the results, Tanium has also been recognised as a Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing.

“We’re delighted to have been named one of the UK’s best workplaces and a leader in wellbeing, for a second consecutive year,” said Tanium EMEA Managing Director, Matt Ellard. “At Tanium, we believe that values are the foundation on which corporate culture is built. And those values come to life in the behaviours of our team members and the decisions they make every single day. This award is testament to these outstanding professionals, whose commitment to doing the right thing for our customers is matched only by their hard work and dedication to building a great company together.”

The award evaluates success based on an external culture audit and comprehensive satisfaction survey with respondents rating their culture on 60-plus elements of the workplace. These elements include trust in managers, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and workplace traits linked to innovation.

“The results from the Great Place to Work survey provide us with insight into our team members’ overall engagement,” said Tanium Chief People Officer, Bina Chaurasia. “We are thrilled by the honour of placing 9th on this year’s list. We thank our team members for their hard work and enthusiasm as we help the world’s largest organisations better manage and secure the enterprise environment and close endpoint visibility gaps.”

The UK’s ‘Best Workplaces’ list is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work. Over the past year, Tanium also ranked 4th in the “Best Workplaces in Technology” list, 10th on the “100 Best Medium Workplaces” list and 8th on the “Best Workplaces in the Bay Area” list.
