Announcing the 2019 Tanium Titans!

We are very excited to introduce Tanium Titans, a new program that recognizes individuals and teams that have gone above and beyond at their organizations to champion their collaboration with Tanium, and innovate using the Tanium platform.

Recently at CONVERGE 2019 in Nashville, we honored the first-ever group of Titans, representing Tanium customers and partners from around the world. I wanted to share a bit on our two inaugural award categories: Champions and Innovators.

Champions

Champions are true Tanium advocates and have devoted time, energy, passion and enthusiasm not only to Tanium technology, but also to helping the extended Tanium community, building relationships throughout their organization, Tanium and among their peers. They’re all examples of how we are solving the hardest IT challenges together, which was the theme of this year’s CONVERGE conference.

The 2019 Champions have done some amazing things. They’ve built “Friends of Tanium” and other communications initiatives within their organizations to collaborate across business units and share best practices. They help host user groups, speak about their experience at important events like industry conferences and meet with peers to explain the value of Tanium. Most of all, they educate us and push us at Tanium to work harder and work smarter, including to think about challenges in ways others are not, and that many even not have not thought possible.

Innovators

Just when I think I know everything there is to know about the Tanium platform and what we can do with it, it’s one of our customers or partners who comes up with a new idea, a new way of thinking about a challenge, a new thought on a feature or function. Our 2019 Innovators have done some remarkably interesting things with the Tanium platform.

In just one example, some of them created custom content that identified network printing resources faster than ever before—minutes, in what used to take days. Other Innovators built sensors and visualizations on top of their Tanium deployment and could point almost immediately to the money they saved when it helped them through a massive technology audit. Many folks have seen this in action because that particular innovator shares scripts in our Community to be used by other customers. That’s true Titans spirit!
