
Thomas Stanley
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Thomas Stanley is responsible for the performance, strategy and alignment of Tanium’s revenue operations, including Worldwide Sales, Partner Sales, Alliances, Customer Success and Sales Operations. In close partnership with Tanium’s Chief Marketing Officer, Stanley’s primary focus is fueling the next stage of Tanium’s U.S. and international revenue growth.
Stanley is a 30-year technology industry veteran with a strong leadership background in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Tanium in September of 2019, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Americas for NetApp, where he was responsible for direct and indirect sales, engineering, professional services, business development, finance, operations and marketing across North America, South America and U.S. Public Sector. During his 13-year tenure at NetApp, he also held positions as Senior Vice President of Global Partner Sales and Alliances and Vice President of Global System Integrators and Alliances, and was recognized externally as one of CRN’s most influential channel chiefs. Prior to NetApp, he held sales and technical roles at SGI and IBM.
Stanley is a passionate advocate for education, science and technology, youth advancement, leadership development and diversity and inclusion. He currently serves on the boards of the Omega Uplift Foundation, Industry Advisory Board at North Carolina A&T State University and Boys Hope Girls Hope International. He is also an active member in the Executive Leadership Council.
Stanley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University and an Executive MBA from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota.
