We are delighted to share that CRN has named Tom Herrmann, Global VP of Channel and Alliances at Tanium, to the CRN Channel Chiefs 2020 list. This annual list recognizes the top vendor executives who continually demonstrate exemplary leadership, influence, innovation and growth for the IT channel.
It is a transformative year for partnerships at Tanium, and this recognition follows the launch of our first official partner program at Tanium, Tanium Partner Advantage. We built Tanium Partner Advantage on a foundation of driving and recognizing Total Partner Value, which considers a partner’s relationship with Tanium across financial performance, building of expertise, investment and growth and customer success. More specifically and uniquely, Tanium Partner Advantage is structured based on the business models partners employ across the customer journey, from influencing buying decisions to providing ongoing managed services. As the first phase of the program rolls out over the next few months, partners will gain access to training and enablement, a personalized portal experience and a clearly defined rewards-based approach to progression.
To further help fuel our partners’ growth, we’ve placed a significant emphasis on establishing a solid back-end infrastructure to ensure partners receive the same training and enablement as those in our field organization. Through this infrastructure, we have also improved benefits and operational support for partners and established dedicated marketing and an improved economic model that ensures higher economic value for channel partners. Next, we will be rolling out a new certification program that will enable our partners to confidently serve customers, and customers will have the added assurance that as a Tanium partner, they are working with professionals truly skilled in Tanium’s offerings.
