What does the Tanium program entail?

Tanium certifications allow you to validate your expertise, skills and abilities — establishing confidence in your deployment and ongoing management of Tanium solutions. The exams are a combination of multiple-choice questions and item types that access practical applications in real-world scenarios. The Tanium Certification Program is the only service to deliver this accreditation of Tanium expertise.

These professional technical certifications were built using best practices to meet or exceed industry standards. There are currently two options:

Tanium Certified Operator (TCO): Provides the essential knowledge and core foundational experience for all user levels. It can be used as a building block for career growth. This course and exam are available now!

Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA): Demands in-depth expertise on efficient operations and administration. Certificate holders are viewed as a trusted resource within their organization and by clients. The TCA course is available now, and the exam will be available later in May 2021

All candidates will be required to create a candidate profile in the Tanium Career Certifications portal and review and accept the Tanium Certification Exam Agreement. This will enable you to register for certification exams, access certification progress and exam history, and maintain your certification record and digital badging through Credly.

Exams are delivered through Pearson Vue, either:

• In-person at a testing center
• Via OnVUE Online Proctoring

All Tanium certifications are valid for two years to ensure that certified skills are kept current and relevant. There’s an option to retake at the same level or take a higher-level exam, which will also renew the lower-level certification. You can view your certification status at any time in the Tanium Career Certifications portal.
