We are very pleased to announce that Tanium has been made available to the Ontario Public Sector (OPS) on the IT Security Products and Service Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement (Tender-11558). Tanium’s unified endpoint management and security platform is immediately available to purchase for all of Ontario’s public sector agencies and institutions.
In November 2019, the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Government and Consumer Services issued Tender 11558 to establish a Vendor of Record arrangement covering 23 categories of IT security products and services, including technical support and professional services. The VOR is available to both OPS and Non-OPS entities, as defined by Supply Chain Ontario.
Public sector entities across Ontario can now leverage Tanium to improve overall IT hygiene, defend against cyberattacks and gain visibility and control of their endpoints. Look for Tanium solutions under Category 1: Endpoint Protection Platforms, as well as Category 23: Enterprise Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment. We know that Ontario’s provincial and municipal agencies, educational and healthcare institutions are under immense pressure to remain secure among growing cyberattacks and malicious threats, and we look forward to our strategic partnership in helping ensure ongoing business resiliency in the public sector.
