Tanium Offers Free-of-Charge Capability to Address Log4j Vulnerability

KIRKLAND, WA – December 14, 2021 – Tanium, the platform that organizations trust to gain visibility and control across all endpoints, today announced it will be providing, free-of-charge, the capability for organizations to rapidly respond to and remediate the Log4j vulnerability. Receiving a 10 out of 10 severity score by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Log4j (CVE-2021-44228) is a critical vulnerability enabling unauthenticated remote code execution in an open-source Java logging library currently incorporated in numerous enterprise applications and open-source software.

Upon detection, administrators can promptly remediate the vulnerability and track ongoing exposure across an entire organization.
