Emeryville, Calif., January 16, 2020 – Tanium, provider of the unified endpoint management and security platform proven in the world’s most technically demanding organizations, has been honored by Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE as one of the “Best Workplaces in the Bay Area” for the second year in a row.
Based on the Great Place to Work survey, Tanium ranks 8th on the 2020 list, which was published today. The ranking considered more than 30,000 employee surveys from companies across the San Francisco Bay Area. Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job, including the extent to which employees trust their leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team.
“At Tanium we are revolutionizing IT management and security to help protect the world’s largest organizations from disruption,” said Bina Chaurasia, Chief People Officer at Tanium. “We are honored to receive recognition as one of the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area as we continue to attract top talent in a very competitive marketplace. We believe that if we hire the right people, trust and enable them, and ground everything we do in our values, then we will achieve our mission and build a company to be proud of.”
“Talented people in the Bay Area want to work for organizations where they can be part of something innovative and impactful,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Organizations like Tanium are attracting these candidates because of their great workplace culture where employees feel like their job is meaningful and that they can maximize their human potential.”
