I’m very pleased to share that Ryan Kazanciyan has been named Chief Technology Officer at Tanium. As CTO, Ryan will have end-to-end responsibility over our roadmap and product vision, and continue to be a public evangelist for how our products help organizations and governments transform IT operations and security.
Ryan first joined us in 2015 as Chief Security Architect, and in 2018 became our Chief Product Officer. Earlier in his distinguished career, Ryan ran investigation and remediation efforts at Mandiant. He’s been an instructor for Black Hat and the FBI’s Cyber Squad, is a contributing author for Incident Response and Computer Forensics, 3rd Edition and has been a technical consultant for TV’s “Mr. Robot.”
Ryan will ensure that everything we’re doing from a product standpoint stays ahead of rapid transformation in our markets and helps enterprises and governments become – and remain – resilient. There’s a lot of complexity out there, and a lot of hype on how to solve that complexity. Tanium has achieved phenomenal growth in the past two years because we’re thinking about the challenges of IT operations, security and compliance beyond point products and legacy management tools. We offer a modern platform, built for this century, that provides unprecedented visibility and control of endpoint devices from a single source.
I look forward to Ryan’s continued leadership and vision, working with one of the most talented engineering teams in the world. Here’s a great interview between Ryan and NASDAQ at our most recent CONVERGE customer conference:
